Dowsing Pendulums & Suncatchers
Here at the Enchanted Goddess, we believe in sharing experience and offering guidance rather than issuing instructions. There is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ as far as we’re concerned; we would invite you to listen to and be guided by your intuition.
We realise the path can sometimes be daunting, however, and we appreciate the encouragement and confidence some gentle guidance can bring, no matter how far along the Path we consider ourselves to be. We are all works in progress after all.
Your pendulum has already been cleansed and charged by one of us. You may wish to perform your own cleansing and charging using your preferred method (providing it is suitable for the crystal). We prefer sunlight, moonlight or smudging with incense. We discuss further methods on our website and you are encouraged to contact us at info@theenchantedgoddess.co.uk if you have any questions at all.
When using any Pendulum for the first time, we like to ask it:
- “Which way do you move for ‘yes’?”
- “Which way do you move for ‘no’”
- “Which way do you move for ‘unsure’?”
– and wait for the Pendulum to move a certain way in response to each question before proceeding with the next.
Some Pendulums will not engage in an ‘unsure’ response, they will only answer to ‘yes’ or ‘no’. Finally, respectfully ask the Pendulum if it is willing to work with you, and hope it answers in the affirmative!
Pendulums respond to clear questions which require a definite ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer, so do phrase your questions as clearly as possible.
Finally, you can work with your Pendulum purely energetically. Ask it to show you the energy of a particular chakra, or hold it over a crystal and ask it to show you the energy of that crystal, or use it for map scrying. Above all – have fun!
